Discover Workforce Development Grants & Going Pro Talent Fund

We are committed to collaborating with employers and agencies like Michigan Works! (MiWorks), the U.S. Department of Labor, LEO (Michigan’s Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity), and other government and industry partners to secure grant funding that supports workforce development initiatives. 

With the Going Pro Talent Fund, you can obtain funding to train and develop current and newly hired employees, earning industry-recognized, transferable credentials. Complete short-term training in areas of demonstrated talent need, and work with Baker College to develop an approvable training plan.

There is no fee associated with becoming a partner; through your partnership with Baker College, you will gain access to our fantastic alumni and current students to fill your open positions and get special pricing through bundles for our Continuing Education offering, making it a win-win for all.

Are there discounts for large groups of employees?

Yes! We are happy to work with our partners on pricing to create bundled and group pricing for our Continuing Education programming.

Is there an opportunity to create course packages through Baker College Continuing Education?

Yes, we can assist Employer Partners in curating course offerings that fulfill the training requirements desired.

What metrics are available to monitor employee progress throughout the course?

As a partner, we assist with enrolling your employees based on the courses of study. Certificates and badges awarded can be verified through our credentialing partners.
